1. Sherwood Beach, Waimanalo
This location offers the quintessential Hawaii experience. It delivers a casual vibe, turquoise waters, and golden beaches. The shore break is steeper here, so you receive consistent, gentle waves for your background. Golden light is available most mornings, and a few trails are there for exploring.
Visit this location, and you'll have access to plenty of soft sand. Most people stick to places close to the parking area, so a brief hike can take you to the perfect spot for solo portraits, couples photoshoots, or family photography.
2. Waialae Beach, Kahala
If you want more privacy during a mid-day shoot, this beach is not a well-known spot. The sea breeze is lovely, and you're still close to the city. It's common to have the entire place to yourself. Discover clear waters, big skies, and mild waves for the idyllic memories you want to capture.

3. Hilton Lagoon, Waikiki

Although it can be busier than other places to take pictures in Hawaii, you will capture the same views as you can see on the big screen. Films like 50 First Dates and Jurassic World have had scenes shot here.
